Richard Sr. a housewright in Scituate and Littleton, MA -1767 - 1805-  (Richard Sr. (1744-1825) is believed to be too early for the recorded plane.)

Richard Jr. a housewright in; 1) the Boston Directory (Russel St.) starting in 1800, 2) 1805, 1809, 1813 court documents and 3) a 1815 deed.

A compassed smoother in beech is the plane reported in GAWP5.

8 inch long beech compassed smoother with 1/2" flat chamfers. Replaced single iron. The plane noted in GAWP5.
