Apprenticeship information from 1794 has been found in Baltimore Co., MD, records: "Nicholas Johnson an orphan boy of the age of 12 years the 17th of last March is bound to John Pasque plain maker to learn his Art and Trade ..."

GAWP5 provides minimal biographical information on John Passcue (Paschal) reflecting the limited information that is available to researchers. The editor questions the validity of GAWP5's birth information for John Paschal .... given as 1784 in Gironde, France, as this does not fit with the Philadelphia Directory dates or the apprenticeship date. It is hoped that additional information can be found to help expand what we know.
