Carpenter in 1850 census and 1870 death record

His father was also named Edward, from Wilmington, a yeoman in 1789, 1796 and 1804 deeds. The father was also a yeoman in the published estate notice from 1804.

Edward Beard (Jr.)

Wilmington, MA b there in 1787 and died there in 1870. His parents were Edward Beard (1756-1804)  and Mary Burt of Wilmington. Edward (Sr.) was a yeoman in period deeds (1789-1804) and in an estate notice from 1804. Edward (Jr.) married Mary Carter in 1812 and his residence was given as Hancock, NH. 

Edward's carpenter references were from the 1850 US census and an 1870 death record from Wilmington.

 

Two other E Beards were Edward from Philadelphia, PA ca 1772 and Edward from Augusta, VA in 1773. Trades are not known.

1830-1860 census, only Edward (Jr.) Wilmington

Deeds searched from Middlesex Co., MA and Rockingham, NH.

Newspaper records searched 1770 to 1870.
