1800 joiner Richmond, Berks Co., PA. The 1800 census for Richmond documented Daniel as having been born between 1756 and 1774.​​

1794 carpenter Woodbury, Bedford Co., PA. Assuming the same Daniel was in the 1820 and 1830 census for Woodbury, he would have been born between 1771 and 1775.
Notes. Census records and tax records were searched for Pennsylvania. Counties with D Boyer's were searched for period deeds. Ten D Boyers were found in the 1800 PA tax lists. Within these sources, these two candidates were the only woodworkers found. In addition, family units were difficult to discern. Consideration was given to the possibly that these two Daniel's were one and the same person, but it does not make sense that Daniel would be in Woodbury in 1794, then in Richmond in 1800 and then back to Woodbury for the 1820 and 1830 census. Lastly, Berks and Bedford Co.'s were searched for probate records, but the records did not provide any clear help.
